It would be great if the Arborean garrison could have some training grounds to teach PC's, like the Training schools in Elvandar. I feel like it should be fighting oriented--no sneaking or hiding.

Perhaps the room could be an archery range, and teach:

  • Missile
  • Heavy Armour
  • Medium Armour
  • Sword
  • Club
  • Axe
  • Defense
  • Polearm
  • Hammer

--I'd like to see Boreal added to this list, Andy. In fact, I'd like to see all the basic races' languages covered, each within their own respective city. (Gnar would be in the halfling embassy) -- KacyRoush - 2011-06-22

I would not like to see this. I can understand a Boreal trainer, but other languages seem iffy to train in the Arborean garrison. Especially Gnar and Tshahark. (Gnar because the halfling embassy is located in Elvandar, and tshahark because they're lizards.) -- ZeHren - 2011-06-20

-- From a wizard's perspective, the work that takes most time is actually writing descriptions. If I get some help with the descriptions I will do the modifications to the garrison. (You can add the description to this wiki page I suppose, I can work it into the room files.) The second thing that would be required is to get the Domainlord's permission. Meribo is currently not very active, but Per is very active.

If Per approves a NPC trainer then I will add one and do the necessary changes to the garrison accordingly. (One simple question I would have is where this NPC actually would be located, if it requires a new room etc.. etc.. ) ~ Linette - 2011-06-18
