Kasim, Eluriel and Arxthas gather at the southern crossing in Elvandar to discuss recent happenings in the war and some of the Crusader policies. I removed some minor spam and such for readability. Please no edits/abuse/garble.

Southern crossing in Elvandar.
In the center of this crossing, a wonderful fountain showing a golden sun
spills water into a basin. Far to the north is the bustling city market
place, while to the south it is possible to leave the city. A Circle Road
starts to the east and west, while in the distance to the north, two
colourful shining towers rise up to the sky.
There are four obvious exits: north[r], east[r], south[r], west[r].
Ethya.

Kasim walks in from south.
Kasim looks at you.
Kasim says: Hello.

Kasim is a cat-eyed graceful male human.
Cat's eyes as black as pitch are set deeply in the deeply tanned
face, which is aquiline almost to a fault. His hair is unkempt, but
not greasy. His muscles are as lean as his frame, almost like a cat
ready to pounce.
He has scars on his nose and left cheek.
He has black eyes.
He has normal long black hair and a short black beard.
He is very tall and lean for a human.
He looks pleasant.
He is in good shape.
He is extremely alert.
He is wearing a large leather backpack, a pair of black leather boots, a
pair of leather thigh-guards, a studded leather cap, a thick studded leather
jacket and a well-oiled black gauntlets.

You nod politely to Kasim.
You smile slightly.
You creak: Hello there.
You creak: Can I help you in some way?
Kasim says: Are you a Crusader?
Eluriel gracefully enters from north.
You tell Kasim: Yes, I am.
Kasim says: Hm
Eluriel looks at you.
Kasim says: It's a shame, then.
Kasim says: You aren't allowed to aid me.
Eluriel looks at Kasim.
Kasim says: I don't follow either of your gods.
You ask Kasim: No? Maybe you are wrong. What is the problem?
Kasim says: I was getting ready to go hunting.
Kasim says: I stopped to say hello, to be polite.
You slightly scratch your head.
Kasim says: And then you asked if I need help.
You emote: Arxthas looks at Kasim.
Eluriel tells Kasim: If you did wish to hunt, I would not mind joining you.
Kasim tells Eluriel: I told you how to get to my usual stomping grounds.
Eluriel nods.
Kasim tells Eluriel: Go there and try your hand against the hobgoblins first.
Kasim says: I don't want to have someone dying on me.
You ask Kasim: Well, if you do need help.. I might be able to assist you. But you have to tell me first.
Eluriel sings: I have been there before I believe.
Kasim says: I'm going to go and see whether or not I can figure out how to parry orc axes.
Kasim draws his long slender dagger from the left leg sheath of his pair of thick leather trousers.
Kasim draws his long slender dagger from the right leg sheath of his pair of thick leather trousers.
Kasim says: With these
Kasim says: Actually, I need to get the one repaired.
Kasim sheathes his long slender dagger in his left leg sheath of his pair of thick leather trousers.
Kasim sheathes his long slender dagger in his right leg sheath of his pair of thick leather trousers.
You emote: Arxthas looks at Kasim questioningly.
Kasim says: Yes?
Kasim looks at the gauntlets.
You emote: Arxthas looks at Kasim.
You ask Kasim: No then? In that case I will be on my way.
Kasim says: Alright then.
Kasim says: I don't mean to be rude.
You smile warmly.
You creak: Don't worry.
You creak: Good day to you both.
You emote: Arxthas tips his head.
Eluriel nods slightly to you.
Kasim says: But I've a dislike for the Crusade's recent actions against everyone who belongs to an orginazation one of their enemies is a part of.
You emote: Arxthas stops walking north.
You emote: Arxthas looks at Kasim.
Hmmmmm.
Kasim says: To be honest, if I were a part of the Crusade, I'd've challenged Luminier to a fight a long time ago.
Kasim says: He may be doing good, but slaughtering anyone who's even slightly against you is almost as bad as the bonepriests.
Eluriel sings: Hm. I don't think he's one you'd want to challenge.
Kasim says: He is.
Kasim says: I'd lose, but I'd still have proven my point.
Eluriel sings: Well, not necessarily.
Eluriel smiles slightly.
Kasim says: I wouldn't have proven that there are people willing to stand up against those far stronger than them when they feel they're right?
Kasim says: Arxthas, I'd like you to tell
Eluriel sings: It's just not the wisest of ideas. He'd likely then consider you an enemy, and we've seen where that leads...
Kasim laughs.
Eluriel sings: And he's not all that easy to reason with either.
Kasim says: I really couldn't care. if he does decide to make me an enemy of the whole damned thing, it just proves my point further.
You shake your head in disagreement to Eluriel.
Kasim says: Not only that, it would almost force me to go and live in Asador.
Kasim says: And I do not want to do that.
Eluriel sings: Hm. Indeed.
You tell Eluriel: A challenge to the Lord Marshall is a part of the rules of our order.
Kasim says: Anyway.
Eluriel looks at you.
Eluriel nods thoughtfully.
Kasim says: Tell Luminier that I've no love of his treatment of the warpriests as a whole
You tell Kasim: What is it that you think is the problem?
Kasim says: Only Mona, Melba, Moaglesh, and Mazarmormuk were involved in actions against the Crusade, to my knowledge.
Kasim says: And he's decided to ban them all from Elvandar.
Eluriel asks: Is Melba a warpriest?
Eluriel goes hmmmm.
Kasim says: Meaning he sees them as enemies to the Crusade, most likely, as well.
You ask Kasim: I do not understand. Can you specify?
Kasim sighs.
Kasim says: Alright.
You tell Kasim: Is there a particular event..?
You emote: Arxthas adjusts his helmet.
Kasim says: One of the warpriests agitated the Crusade
Kasim says: Luminier in particular.
Kasim says: He then wages war against them.
Kasim says: He does, however, spare those who have taken no action against the Crusade.
Kasim says: Now that he has won, however, he has decided to both outlaw the warpriests from Elvandar, and has most likely made them enemies of the Crusade.
Kasim says: I feel that is wrong.
Kasim says: As only a handful of them actually committed crimes against the Crusade, and fewer still against Elvandar itself.
Eluriel sings: Mona and Moaglesh seem to be the only real threats.
Kasim says: It is quite clearly, from an outside perspective, his attempt at some form of punitive retribution to whoever started the war in the first place.
Kasim says: Dealt, in addition, to that which was already dealt during the war.
You ask Kasim: Who were outlawed?
Kasim says: Go read the board in Lanshea's office.
Eluriel sings: Well, the entire guild was banned.
Kasim says: Luminier has stated he is outlawing the ENITIRETY of the warpriests
You ask: On what grounds?
Kasim says: Because of the war
Eluriel sings: Not outlawed, only forbidden to enter the city.
You creak: Banned?
Kasim says: The same effect.
Eluriel sings: He says it is because they continue to enter the city and cause havoc, etc.
Kasim says: Hmph
You creak: Well, there is a difference between a ban and outlawing.
Kasim says: The one who left a note on the board, Lesur, how is he raising trouble?
Kasim says: It's the holier-than-thou zealots like the one who asked why a "criminal" was preaching who should be banned.
Eluriel sings: That is my problem with it. I only know of two Asralites who have caused real trouble.
Eluriel sings: I'm curious as to why he feels he needs to extend it to the entire guild.
Kasim says: Because, in my opinion, and from what I've heard from him, the Crusade seeks to stamp out any religion other than those of Taniel and Evren.
Kasim says: Possibly Gwen, as well.
You shake your head in disagreement.
Eluriel sings: An interesting rumor.
You creak: The followers of Gwen do no harm to society
You creak: They are most innocent. The Crusaders will never attack themm
Kasim laughs.
Kasim says: Until it's their religion and the Crusader's.
Kasim says: Then they'll find a reason.
You ask Kasim: What do you mean?
Kasim says: Perhaps that Gwen's followers induce chaos with their passion.
Eluriel sings: Too much lust.
Eluriel smiles playfully.
Kasim says: That as well.
You ask Kasim: Why do you think that the Crusade would ever do such a thing?
Kasim says: He could easily say that their all-consuming lust is a byproduct of Lillith.
Kasim says: Because Luminier is a religious zealot who seems to be sociopathically attacking other religions.
Hmmmmm.
Kasim says: And that is something you cannot deny.
You creak: I do not know what a Zlot is.. or a socipatti.
Kasim says: He is a religious zealot, or he would not be leading your order.
Kasim says: And a sociopath when it comes to other religions.
You creak: But there is evil in this world - and yes, it is our duty to attack that
Kasim says: A zealot is the kind of person who will die for their faith, time and again, if possible.
Eluriel tells you: But that does not explain the ban on all the Asralites.
Kasim says: And a sociopath is someone who does not believe that the laws of the land apply to them, only thier own laws.
Kasim says: Which both describe Luminier perfectly.
Eluriel sings: Surely the city doesn't need protection from those who have caused it no harm.
Kasim says: In fact, hasn't he killed the guards at Arborea more than once?
Kasim says: While chasing enemies of your order?
Kasim says: That's a perfect example of sociopathic behaviour.
Eluriel tells Kasim: That is a curious note. He has blatantly disobeyed the laws of Arborea restricting him.
Eluriel tells Kasim: A threat to society that one.
Eluriel winks.
Kasim says: Blatantly ignoring laws to suit himself.
Kasim says: And says he is doing it for the good of Arborea.
Hmmmmm.
Kasim says: Strange, then, that he kills their guardsmen rather then knocking them unconscious, as a warrior of his skill is surely capable.
Eluriel sings: Well, Andy is an Asralite. I wonder what she will have to say.
Kasim says: I've met her.
Kasim says: I like her.
You creak: Don't you think the Lord Marshall most likely has good reason to act like he does?
Kasim says: To himself, yes.
Kasim says: Hence, he is a sociopath.
Kasim says: He ignores the laws when it suits him.
Kasim says: Because he does not believe they apply to him.
You creak: These persons which he are chasing are evil creatures - they can not be allowed to live, right?
Kasim says: If I were to go and murder the guards while killing, say, the leader of the bonepriests, would I be exempt from killing them?
Kasim says: No.
Kasim says: I would be tried.
Eluriel tells you: Evil... well, that can be a relative term.
Kasim says: Most likely, your Luminier would burn me at the stake.
Kasim says: And yet, I was only performing an action he has done more than once.
You ask Eluriel: Reltive?
You slightly scratch your head.
Kasim says: Yes, the people he chases are evil.
Kasim says: The guards are not.
You tell Eluriel: Evil is that which is bad and causes harm to the society.
Kasim says: Yes.
Kasim says: Luminier murders guards when he could simply knock them out.
Eluriel asks: Then wouldn't Luminier be guilty of evil acts?
You creak: We can not allow these bastards to run around free?
You smile slightly.
Kasim says: That shows him just as bad.
Kasim says: Well, look at it like this.
Eluriel sings: Blatantly disregarding the law, murdering guards...
Kasim says: If Eluriel here had attacked and killed the Arborean guards, what would you do?
Kasim says: You would drag her into your castle and burn her, yes?
Kasim says: No matter the circumstance.
You shake your head in disagreement.
You creak: It depends on the situation.
Kasim says: Why then, is your Lord Marshall allowed to do the same.
You smile slightly at Kasim.
Kasim says: Incorrect.
You creak: Huh?
Kasim says: I was nearly slain for mistakenly attacking one of the border patrol.
Kasim says: I was being chased at the time by a bonepriest who I couldn't see.
Kasim says: One of your order wanted to burn me.
You tell Kasim: Mistakes happens some times.
Kasim says: One of the Taniel clergy, however, happened to have witnessed the event.
Kasim says: But for their intervention, I'd have been killed.
Several elves armed with longbows rush down the street and are gone some seconds later.
Kasim says: So.
You tell Kasim: If one of our order sees someone attack a guard, he must question that.
You tell Kasim: Even if it is a mistake.
Kasim says: Luminier walking around the country, murdering guards, and you do not question him?
You emote: Arxthas taps his chin thoughtfully while smacking his lips.
Kasim says: Luminier has attacked and killed the guards many, many times.
You tell Kasim: It is not murder.
You smile slightly at Kasim.
Kasim spits on the ground.
Eluriel raises her eyebrow at you.
Kasim says: And that proves that you're all as sociopathic as he is.
You emote: Arxthas looks at Kasim.
Eluriel asks you: What do you mean?
You creak: I would die for my god, yes.
Kasim says: If I did it under those exact circumstances, I would have to face the penalty of the law.
Kasim says: However, your Lord Marshall does it and walks away.
Kasim says: No.
Kasim says: That's a zealot.
You creak: Evren is that which is good, she created life. I would always protect her
You nod seriously.
Kasim says: A sociopath thinks he's above the law.
Kasim says: Actually, is Luminier awake?
Kasim says: I'd rather talk to him myself.
You creak: There are many laws..
You shrug slightly.
Kasim says: To try and get an understanding behind his reasons.
You creak: No, he is not awake.
Kasim says: Oh, and one of those are, the Crusaders are exempt from murder?
You creak: You are wrong - it is not murder
Kasim sighs.
You smile sadly.
Eluriel asks you: What is not murder?
Kasim says: Then why doesn't he knock them out.
Kasim says: He is probably the most skilled warrior in the land?
Kasim says: Yes?
You tell Kasim: I do not know. I was not there. Maybe the risk is too high? I can only guess.
Kasim says: Then why does he not pull his blows and leave them just unconscious.
You shrug slightly.
Kasim says: No.
Kasim says: The guards are just a hindrance to him.
Kasim says: I've seen him split a vampire's head open.
You creak: Maybe it is that way. Maybe not?
Kasim says: He could easily avoid killing the guards.
You shrug at Kasim.
<OOC>: Kasim: wow, getting lots of @rage building up
You creak: I can not answer that question, I am sorry..
<OOC>: Are you angry? frown Mate, it's just a game.
Eluriel tells Kasim: There's no real solution for it except to witness him in the act and make a case about it.
Kasim says: They're dismissed.
Kasim says: People have tried.
Eluriel goes hmmmm.
Eluriel asks: Dismissed?
Kasim says: As far as legality is concerned, Arborea is too scared to actually try Luminier, and he is the judge here.
Eluriel sings: I don't see why they should be scared.
Kasim says: He routinely murders their guards.
Kasim says: Why would they NOT be scared?
Eluriel sings: But the judge has the power in that city. He can be expelled if necessary.
Eluriel sings: If outlawed, it would be far more difficult for him.
Eluriel sings: I think perhaps Andy just happens to favor him.
Kasim says: If he is outlawred, he'd just murder the guards, go into the middle of town, and place a note declaring war on the town.
Kasim says: Then, he would likely murder anyone he met on the way out.
Eluriel sings: Well, I doubt he'd declare war on the town.
You tell Kasim: I think you are assuming a bit too much about the situations. The Crusade will not hunt Gwen followers.. and if you was attacked for attacking a border patrol, even by mistake, that has its reasons too.
Kasim snorts in disgust.
Kasim says: Right.
You creak: I think you are maybe making a bit much out of it?
Kasim says: It's only a short hop from where things are now to all-out war between the Crusade and every other living person.
You creak: Our order is very precise and has a long history of justice in for example Arborea too
The water in the fountain bubbles loudly.
You creak: It's not good to jump at premature conclusions
You smile slightly at Kasim.
You creak: It's better to discuss this
You creak: I believe at least Caelia and some of her disciples can help as well
You nod wisely to Kasim.
Kasim says: Is the Archbishop awake?
Kasim says: Perhaps one of the Tanielite clergy will be more willing to see reason.
You creak: We can not know what the gods alone wish
You smile slightly.
Kasim says: But apparently, Luminier does.
You tell Kasim: No, she is not awake.
You creak: Pardon..
Eluriel sings: I thought the Crusaders communicated with the divine.
Eluriel sings: Or so I've heard.
You creak: Of course we can. As well as the clerics.
Kasim says: Weren't the Asrals told to live by the Crusade's DIVINE LAW?
Kasim says: Implying they know what the gods want?
You creak: But not everyone else
You smile slightly.
You creak: The citizens here, they believe.. but they do not have the position to feel
You creak: but our Archbishop, she can feel it.
Eluriel nods slowly.
You creak: And our Lord can too..
Kasim says: Ah.
Kasim says: So you've just contradicted yourself.
You creak: But I can see if this is difficult.. I struggle myself
Eluriel drinks from a waterskin (1l) (empty).
Eluriel hiccups.
You creak: contricted?
Kasim says: Ask your Lord Marshal to speak with me, please.
Hmmmmm.
Kasim says: I would enjoy talking to him before I continue this discussion.
Kasim bows to you.
Kasim says: And with that, I am afraid I must take my leave.
Kasim bows to Eluriel.
You creak: You will have to seek audience
Eluriel nods to Kasim.
Kasim looks at Eluriel.
You creak: but if you must leave, we can talk about that later.
Kasim says: Of the beautiful elven maiden, as well.
You tell Kasim: I hope you not conclude too much of nothing.
Kasim waves.
Kasim shakes his head in disagreement.
You wave.
Kasim says: Oh no, I take nothing more away from this discussion that I did coming in.
Kasim says: It was, in truth, merely a chance to speak of what I feel your order is doing wrong.
Kasim waves.
Kasim walks away, blending into the crowds.
Kasim walks out north.
You smile thoughtfully.
You creak: So much ideas, he has
Eluriel nods thoughtfully.
You creak: He should try them first, I think.
You creak: And not judge too quick
You creak: I understand if he is angry though
You creak: He was attacked for a mistake
You creak: that must leave its marks.
Eluriel sings: One does tend to react strongest to their first impressions.
You nod wisely to Eluriel.
You ask Eluriel: Are you a citizen here?
Eluriel nods.
You creak: If I may be rude to ask
You smile at Eluriel.
Eluriel sings: Kasim comes from Naarved as he tells me.
You listen to Eluriel.
Eluriel sings: Though I only met him briefly before.
You ask Ethya: kasim
Ethya sings: Can't say I heard either good or bad things about him recently.
Ethya shrugs.
Ethya sings: I saw him pass me by about 45 minutes ago.
You nod slightly to Ethya.
You ask Ethya: me
Ethya sings: Can't say I heard either good or bad things about you recently.
Ethya shrugs.
Hmmmmm.
You creak: Oh, you were running for judge before?
Eluriel nods.
You creak: Wasn't it you?
You nod.
You creak: Why did you withdraw?
Eluriel sings: That session of voting had ended and Luminier was still in the lead.
Eluriel sings: I thought I may as well concede it to him.
You nod understandingly.
You ask Eluriel: Will you not be a candidate to the next election?
Eluriel sings: Well, perhaps at some point I will try again.
You creak: Really?
Eluriel sings: Perhaps. I'll wait and see how Luminier handles things.
You creak: I do not want to give you the impression though that I will vote for you
You creak: and I do not say that to be rude
Eluriel smiles slightly.
Eluriel sings: That is alright.
You creak: But I believe my Lord might not have as deep knowledge of the elven society
You creak: a blend of ideas from someone like yourself, might represent the wisest decision.
Eluriel sings: It is true, a bit odd to see another human elected as judge.
You creak: I do not think it is wrong - but maybe the traditional values receive less focus.
Eluriel goes hmmmm.
You creak: I lived here for my entire life, after all.
You creak: Generation through generation, so I know some of that.
Eluriel nods.
You emote: Arxthas looks up at the clouds.
You creak: It's getting cloudier
You creak: I hope it does not add up to rain
You creak: I very much dislike walking up north in the rain.
Eluriel asks: Up north?
You creak: Well, yes.. on patrol.
Eluriel sings: Ah.
You creak: The tundras and arctic are under constant watch.
Eluriel nods.
You creak: But when it rains or snows, it's not a nice place to be.
Eluriel sings: I wouldn't think so. At least it's gotten warmer though.
You remove the helmet.
You emote: Arxthas shakes his head to the left and right as the helmet comes off.
You feel great delight by drinking as much as you can from the fountain.
You creak: Well, I think I will be heading back to Fal Arth Rachen.
You emote: Arxthas makes himself ready.
You feel somehow less protected.
You wear the helmet on your head and neck.
Eluriel nods.
You creak: Take care, Eluriel.
You wave.
Eluriel sings: Farewell then.
