Ramandu (more in the days to come)

A youthful well-muscled male tshahark whose face appears firm, yet playful. A strong brow and heavy jaw surround two twinkling, bright-green and curious eyes. Well groomed, bluish-green scales cover his well-conditioned, lean reptilian muscles. He is tall and lean for a tshahark. Over his armour, he wears a white tunic with a red cross proudly adorning the chest. The beams of the cross are narrow at the center, but widen toward the forked ends. When the visor for his helmet is closed, his face is hidden behind a strong, tough steel helmet with menacing, narrow eyeslits. The front of the helmet is fixed with metal rivets and have hammer-shaped holes before the lower parts of the face, with their shafts pointing to the sides. The shape is almost cylindrical and after joint at its top it leans back slightly with a proud attitude.

History

Ram's given name is Ramandu, but he rarely thinks of his own name. His sense of his own individuality has always been very weak – almost as weak as his memory of his earliest youth. Before leaving the Tshahark castle, he spent his time lost in sleep with only vague and fuzzy memories that blend with dreams. He does not recall the first few days after leaving the castle, except that his hunger was overpowering and drove him forward. He must have found his way into ArboRea and scavenged for food, the basic necessities and some coins as his first full formed memories come after waking up in an inn wearing cloths that were unfamiliar with coins in the pockets (understanding pockets, let alone what to do with money, is another story best saved for another day).

From early on, before Ram became a Crusader, he was shaped by his early influences and his intrensic curiosity: Tessa , Taynan , Shalun, and Mathias to name a few. Upon learning how Tshaharks were made , his simple mind has embraced his role to destroy evil, and under Mathias' guidance and patient teaching, Ram found a new home in the Crusaders and with Shalun's help, he has become as faithful a follower of Evren as he can be (he even ties to eat as many mushrooms and berries as he can, but he is sure Evren understands an occasional boar).

Evren, the Crusaders, his Tshahark heritage, and Blizt's influence create a rather interesting take on "Evil bad! Good good!" . . . What could be simplier right? You should ask him about it . . . I will try to make some log files and add them as they occur to get working definition of how and why a Tshahark worships Evern. Please add your own thoughts in the comments section.

Ram has also had some atypical freindships for a Crusader. To my knowledge, Ram is the only Crusader to sing a duet with Devi

Deaths: . . . too many to count, but special thanks to JezZ smile at whose hand Ram has died a few times and who hung Ram on an upside down cross for over a week.
