Glorfindel, Shadowhunter.

Glorfindel, once a young elf of 20 years age, set out to explore the world and to leave his parents and the small Village between trees where he was born among elves and had grown up. Being the 3. Son of his Father, no one ever really paid attention to him, so he had the possibility to explore the nature sourrounding him, althrough he was more attrackted to the stars, books and knowledge of the written word. After and big struggle with his dad, glorfindel set out to explore the world, leaving his homevillage behind him and having with him only some woodaxe and an rusty sword, which the smithy had given to him, he started to travell to arborea to see the famous temple of Asrals(some won't belive it, but glorfindels family believed in Asral). As he reached there, Glorfindel heard about the lag of city guards in arborea and joined in. He also tried to get accepted by the Asral clerics, they objected him for some to him unknown reason. So 50 Years of his live went on till the age of 70, where he happened to come across an traveller who was fighting a goblin and was about to loose. Filled with some sort of anger glorfindel readied his weapon and rescued the traveller from the goblin.

After this fight, Glorfindel felt an intense heat building up on his forehead and he heard the voice of Taniel whsipering in his mind: "I sign you my son, for this dead, thee shall wear my sign forever. Become my cleric, serve me." Confused by this happenings, Glorfindel travelled to ElvanDar, the famous elven city and talked to the Priest there. Soon after the finish of this talk, glorfindel was accepted into the clergy of Taniel. After 42 Years of Training, Glorfindel became initate of Taniel and set out once again to visit his parents, to find them long dead, killed by the plaque, spread by a sathonys cleric.

Glorfindel made a fast carreer among the clergy because of his interest of knowledge, his kindness and strong religon. 52 Years after Glorfindel joined the clergy Glorfindel became archbishop of the lord and recieved the gift of the faithful from an Archangel. Furthermore not more able to feel any hate nor anger, he lives among the citizens of elvandar, caring for wounded people and the souls of the citizens and travellers and trying to gather knowledge out of books. If he is not defending his Lord's temple against the Sathonys Clerics or other enemies of the Clergy you might find him sitting in an tavern, cloaked in his white cowl, his rod leaning beside him and a reading in a book, drinking water of a crystal spring.

Recently Glorfindel was offered retirement from the clergy by Taniel himself. Therefore he's just a civil man nowadays, not the cleric he used to be.
