"Few is known about the youth of this creepy lady. Bad tongues link her first years with a strange incident that happened in ElvanDar around a century ago. An elven woman was mobbed by human farmers for practicing "Witch Magic" in the edges of the Green Forest. The woman lived alone with her daughter in a wooden hut, seemingly without husband or partner. That lady died by lapidation from the farmers, trying to gain time while her teen daughter fled into the forest. That elven lass was rumoured to practice the same arts as her mother, and was traced down and hunt for several days, without success. Some people think she grew to become Ferranifer, some say it's probably an unrelated event.

The first record of Ferranifer comes from the Shaolin, were she studied under the counsel of Lord Isha'el Silverarrow for several years. There she reached a medium rank and learn several of the martial arts of the monks, by the hands of the experienced master of the arts. She took part in several confrontations against the Dark Servants of the Unpronouncable - which she would later join. It was a time in which Iske and Duncan were the speakers of the temple, and Bejo, Isha'el and others were among their active members. Heavy fighting was usual in that times between the Servants and the monks. There is no explanation for the cruel transformation the Death Maiden semt to withstand, which lead her to abandon her monkship and join the Servants of the Lich Lord.

After an incident in the orc tower of the Green Forest's ridges, she got trapped and napped by Dalamar - a Leader of the Church and a being of huge power - who carried and jailed her into their Temple for several days. There she lost her bind to the order of the shaolin and finally joined the Church as a Slave. How or why is unknown, but it lead her and the Church into a path of tremendous personal and collective power and control over the whole Forostar. Cruel and bloody fights arose and the dark clerics gained more and more power over the rest of the population, attacking in teams of skull-masked and robed Servants to leave noone alive.

The Dark Mistress rapidly changed her name to the one she actually bears: Mistress Ferranifer, Death Maiden. And she grew strong in the ranks of the Church, finally earning the title of Claw of Servants among the leadership of the Dark Church and taking care of the servantship of Shadowca until she earned the title of Claw herself. Several rumours bind her tightly to Vlad Morningstar as well, and she has been seen with bite marks and bloody lips several times, yet few is known about her relationship with him or his goals. Other rumours tie her to Dalamar - noone knows what happened those dread days he imprisoned her.

Recently she has gained even more power by becoming the first Master Scribe of the Scribes guild, which grants her access to the magik arts. Perhaps those her mother wielded 100 years ago? In that rank she has shown a fair deal of neutrality towards its members and the goals of the Scribes guild. Something that opposes her dictatorial and ironfisted behaviour about the Church politics and behaviour.

A crude and cruel negotiator, merciless opponent, yet honourful being - she claims openly she never lies, no matter how cruel it's the truth - her very existance is a mystery, dark binds and cruel happenings mark her past, present... and future."

Yes, this is the story of the Death Maiden, worm.
