• Notable Deaths

Devi's died a few dozen times (edit: more like 90). They frustrated me at the time, but now I'm fond of reminiscing. Here are my top 10:
10) Killed by ogrepriests after trying to gnaw out their eyes in bloodlust.
9) Killed by a wolf in the dripstone cave. The pre-death confusion gives this one its spot on the countdown.
8) Throat ripped out by grey mole. Ouch. Those claws aren't clean! (First and last grey mole fought.)
7) Accidentily attacked Yegerfin without much luck. (I count this death as a suicide.)
6) Cut in half by cyclops. The first time I saw that crit, which is still my favourite in the whole game.
5) Gremlins! I swear they killed her a long time ago. I hope I'm remembering it wrong.
4) Sneaking into the Asral temple is bad, even if you're just testing. (They cut off her leg )
3) Black poison trap. A half-hour of meditation, some sleeping, and lots of praying didn't help very much.
2) Death Valley power room. Must... touch... orb! Must... recover corpse?
1) Blizt! My first player-caused death, and definitely a fine one. I was very traumatised at the time.
