Between ElvanDar and the eastern ocean, where steep cliffs rise out of the raging sea, a small village can be found on a narrow strip of land. This little settlement is called Naarved and is mainly inhabitated by fishermen and sailors. According to some rumours, pirates occasionally seek out Naarved as hideout and the citizens there tend to be not as law-abiding as they should be. But since the village is in the middle of nowhere, the major cities aren't very interested in this fact.

Points for development:

  • Who settled Naarved? Fishermen from ArboRea? Criminals?
  • In what year?
  • Are they technically within ArboRea's domain, or outside the borders?
_ElvanDar's government takes care of Naarvedi affairs as far as I know. But since it's a town of outlaws (and Naarved refuses to cooperate with ElvanDar or pay taxes), they very rarely do anything for the city. This is as far as I know, I might be wrong. -Tessa
ElvanDar's court intervenes when laws are broken in Naarved (according to ElvanDar law). However, I doubt that anyone ever reports crimes there. I can recall at least a few times characters have been murdered in Naarved and no one batted an eye. -Devi_ Personalitywise, I've never seen a Naarvedi sissy. They're tough as nails and usually a bit grimey. The guards also like to spit. -Devi
