This song originally appeared in the Pirates of the Carribean 3. It is seen in the amazing opening scene as well as slightly later. The chorus is more or less the original, but I rewrote pretty much all of the rest of it I believe.
Hoist the Colours
Yo, ho, haul together,
Hoist the colours high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
Never shall we die.
The queen and her men
put a price on my head
they drove me from my old home.
The seas they be ours
and by their deep powers
where we will we'll roam.
Yo, ho, haul together,
Hoist the colours high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
Never shall we die.
Some men they have died
and some are alive
and others sail on the seas.
On captain's true say
with demons to pay
we sail to Cumberly!
Yo, ho, haul together,
Hoist the colours high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
Never shall we die.
The cry has been heard
from top of the mast
You hear its warning report?
Pay heed to the squall,
Shout call out to all,
Men turn your bows to port!
Yo, ho, haul together,
Hoist the colours high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
Never shall we die.
