Eirikeld
Juggler, Fisherman, Skald

Most of this human's dark red hair is found on his chin. His eyes are grayish
blue, and sit within deep sockets and a thin face. They are restless and
intense, giving him a bit of a wild look along with his apparent nervous
energy. Gaunt cheeks and the beginnings of creases speak of strains endured.

You have blue eyes.
You have very short red hair and a very long red beard.
You are tall and lean for a human.

Eirikeld is a smart-ass human with a "go take a long walk off a short pier if ya don't like it" attitude towards life.
This helps him bounce back from the trials of life, but also helps to make sure those trials will be numerous.

He can often be found in public places and inns singing, juggling his swords, or both. Otherwise, he may be along one of the coastlines or rivers fishing.

Born and raised in ArboRea, his father was a tanner by trade. His father died some some years back of old age, and his mother died later, around year 1110AA, of disease. The inheritance was split, with his brother getting the business, and he got the house in southern Arborea. He began a life of adventure, but soon after returned home one day to find his home burned down. Uncertain if it was accidental, a result of a nearby crusader raid, or collateral damage from an insect raid, he packed his possessions and what little money he had, and wandered out of Arborea.

Unfortunately, with no plan and no real skills, he fell quickly, and spent a few years drunk in the gutters of Naarved. While in Naarved, he frequented the pubs and inns often. In the processs, he befriended a few of the locals, including the captain of a small boat. Sleeping wherever he could, he worked odd jobs now and then to pay for his next binge or gambling spree.

After sobering up one day, he realized he was about to die there in the gutters, along side Lurgrod. Taking what little remained to him, he went back to Arborea to find it a different place. The temple was burned down, and the clergy gone. He started his life over again. Forsaking drinking for a while, he began to see what he could do to help Arborea. He joined the Skalds, and even began to learn tanning, following in his father's footsteps. After a while, he realized that he was powerless in the face of the machinations of those who truly ran the city. The most obvious proof of this came when he was elected judge, despite his intentions or wishes. Since then, he has tried to do what he can as judge, to help the city slowly rebuild. However, he continues to grow ever more cynical, and is wondering if the city is truly worth saving. Having been thrown out of Elvandar, and not trusting the Arborean guards any longer over a previous incident, he currently makes his home in the Underground or Naarved.

Songs He Wrote or Contributed

He has written one, and contributed two others [I wrote, he learned in Naarved] to the Skalds.
They can all be found at EirikeldSongs.

Deaths

Hobgoblin in the mines of the Underground. Good shot, too young to be there, bled to death half way out of the mine.
Orc in the Broken Raft Camp. Wasn't paying enough attention, was hit hard. Looked back to the game and found I was dead.
Fanghul, helping someone try to retrieve their belongings. Three fanghuls isn't pretty.
Nymph, after being tortured and attacked by Aragog. See the log here
Waldschrat, while logging. It entered, I fumbled, and fell, it beat the snot out of me while I was getting up.
