The blue flames of the braziers seem to suck the light out of the
surroundings, darkening the area.

All of a sudden you hear whispers from the shadows.

You feel a faint trembling in the stone floor and walls.

Alahrial screams loudly!
The world blurs and moves slightly, as if angles and lines are no longer
real.

Alahrial says in Dark Speech: you
Alahrial starts moaning painfully.
Your head starts to pound and you think the statues next to the stone just
moved.

Alahrial reaches out and touches the statue showing a man. Then she cringes
in agony, her back bending as if about to break at any moment.
Alahrial shouts in obvious pain like you've never heard any living thing
shout before. It seems to last forever.

Alahrial spasms and you hear her bones crack.

Alahrial screams in agony.

The statue Alahrial just touched starts to move towards her. Alahrial's skin
starts to blister.

The statue showing the crowned man bends down to Alahrial and lays a hand on
her forehead. Flames engulf Alahrial's body and burn her alive. she tries to
scream, but only flames leave her mouth. Then, mercifully, she loses
consciousness.

Alahrial falls unconscious.

Blinding light fills the area and blinds you for a moment. When you can see
again, the statue is back in its place, and Alahrial looks unharmed, but...
changed.
