Arborean Clothing - Human Clothing

- I imagine the Arborean aesthetic to be run towards squares and angles, rather than softer natural lines. Colors, however, I would imagine to be wide open, think of the variety of colors in most cultures, they were only limited by the materials available. -Eir

- Arborean Armour? I like the ones that are in game already. Mainly platemail based. Is more needed? - Goj

Examples

A coarse (color) tunic
A loose fitting tunic of thick sheep's wool dyed (color) in color. The v-necked collar grows wider towards the point before ending in 3 imperfect square buttons. Sleeves are worn rolled up as is common for Arborean style and the entire piece reaches to the wearer's mid-thigh.

A fine (color) tunic (color & color2 = usual woolen shirt colors of now)
This well made linen tunic is (color) with large bands of (color2) trim. It fits close at the neck, but has a large split down to the middle chest, that is laced closed. The loose sleeves reach just past the elbow, and end in the same (color2) trim as the neck and hem. -Eir

Elvandar Dress - What does Elvish style look like?

- I see elves having three different styles of dress. City elves would have either a rich and flamboyant colorful style(see the architecture of Elvandar for example) or a very subdued, quiet earth-tone type of look. Then those elves who spend most of their time in the woods would have a camouflaged set of dress similar to the rangers(perhaps rangers dress is spawned from elven wear?). Oh, and different colored armour as mentioned in EalDeliah - Gojin

- Elven armours should be.... chainmail based? Is it customery to wear coifs? - Goj

Examples

A (lavender/silver/golden/bright red) ceremonial robe
This voluminous robe is sewn of a (adjective-vibrant/illustrious/glossy) (color) silk which shimmers ever so slightly when light falls upon it. It has long wide sleeves and folds across the chest before being loosely tied to the body by an (opposite color) sash and ending in a small train which trails behind the wearer when they walk.

A light (earthtone/grey) robe
A light and informal robe of dyed cotton. A (opposite color) trim runs along the short wide sleeves and it folds across the chest before being firmly tied to the body by an (opposite color) sash and ending just below the knees.

A white official's robe

A (shining silver, sparkling blue, lush green, bright yellow, crimson, black) hauberk
A chainmail shirt sporting a raised, double layered collar and sleeves that extend past the elbow. It reaches to just past the thighs and the (color) colored metal rings seem to shimmer ever so slightly when light falls upon them.

A leaf-patterned hunting tunic

Underground Style - What do dwarves wear when not in armour?

Long-johns and Overalls!-Eir

- I see the dwarves as being HIGHLY practical, eschewing form almost completely for function. Not to mention, I borrowed heavily from some mining stereotypes for them. -Eir

Examples

Long-johns - (color = white, natural?, light gray, gray, yellow, tan, brown, red)
Made of sturdy cotton, this tight fitting suit seems to provide good comfort and protection in cool temperatures. A small flap buttons closed in the back, so the wearer does not need to get out of these often.
I see this one taking up the arms, torso, abdomen, legs, and feet. -Eir

Overalls - (color = brown, tan, dark brown, gray, light gray, steel gray, rust colored, black)
These sturdy (color), loose fitting trousers have a large flap in the front that covers the chest and stays in place with straps that run up over the shoulders. A large pocket covers much of that center flap, and there is a small loop on the right hand side that looks like it would conveniently hold a small tool of some kind.
My thought is that the loop will be sized to hold a small ornamental hammer [the kind used in repairing]. -Eir

Western Wear - Gypsies, Bandama villagers, do Gobbos wear anything other than ragged/tattered clothing?

- I would think the gypsies wear things significantly different than the villagers of Bandama or Cumberly. While both are human, I would imagine the nomadic gypsies have a very different aesthetic than the more sedentary villagers. -Eir
