During Creation

Breldor Ant'Arelli

He is the 3rd & youngest son, and 5th of 7 children.

Born into some very good looks, but being the last in line for inheritance, he combines the elven haughtiness, an emotional distance, and knowledge that his life could be forever, if he is careful. Add to that a rebellious teen's attitude towards authorities and society in general. This troubled adolescent elf thinks he knows it all, and can get his way on his looks and craftiness, of which he has lots, and little respectively. He has begun wandering out of the city and into the forests, trying to find something to do.

Knowing he was not going to get anywhere in life if he stayed with his family, he stole a few coins and left home for good. Since his father knew so many people, Breldor is forever suspicious of people, afraid he will be returned home as the thief he is. As the son of a merchant, he learned a few things of business and city life, but not much. He was schooled, but little was spent on his education as he was not expected to inherit the family's business. Thus poorly equipped, he wandered out into the world.

Being from a merchant family, where money was everything, he is both sick of it, and covetous of it. He believes you are no one with out it and knows what it can buy. However, he is tired of life revolving around it.

Since creation

Staying in the forests for a lot of the time, to avoid his family, he decided to try selling meats, furs, and other things fairly easily obtained from the forest. He quickly realized that working for a living is no fun, and not very lucrative. After being handed his fifteenth (or so) proclamation, he finally admitted that even if it meant working for the authorities, it was far better money, and still kept him out of the city most of the time.

Having run into a family acquaintance, he was forced into reconciliation. Fortunately, he had made plenty of money to pay back his father, and then some. He has agreed to lose the family's name, in exchange for not being prosecuted for his crime. No longer running, he spent a bit of time exploring the world. Deciding that working for a living was no way to do things, he seeks to find a way through life either as a merchant, or in similar work that does not involve actual work.
