Some random ideas to get some more people, all just ideas:

- DONE Colors on room short, room long and exit descriptions. Possibility to toggle color/off.

- DONE Colors on talking. Possibility to toggle color/off. (GeNeSis): I would go for the ideas on colours, but not in too great extent. The colours would have to be adjustable by players. Normal saying and telling in same colour, shouts in a different colour, whisper its own, singing. With room short and long descriptions I

  • strongly* disagree, but on room exits I could accept it. Just my 2cc.

(Jotun): I belive colours is something expected by many players and can also help alot for newbies. As it would be possible to turn it on/off, every player can have it exactly as he/she wants. I think colour in general is something players expect, but I'm no fond of the "christmas tree"-look either, so that's why I suggested it only for the most common messages. and besides, you could turn it off. I think it will make more players stay.

(Luchtainiel): Just to be sure: I strongly recommend against any descriptions with colors set by the creating wizard. It might be a good idea to have certain standard things highlighted by color as long as the usual rules apply: (1) it can be turned off and on anytime by the players (2) the players can edit their color scheme.

(Jotun): Agreed.

- Object listings (such as inventory) with one item/line.

- Making it possible to wear an armour on under another without removing the upper layer if there are no conflicts. To ease a bit for the lazy and scriptless. You can actually do this with removing armours already, but opposite of course. (GeNeSis): Lazy people! It's not really needed, is it? I like to remove all my stuff before wearing something new... wink Gives a possibility to be naked, you know. wink (TrolloC): Yeah, but i think exhibitionists should be hang on the gallows wink I like easier remove/wear stuff, it takes me some time to figure out what and how to wear something, and sometimes it doesnt even make sense (judging from the description of the items in question) (JoTun): I'm not sure its needed, my thought was newbies might find it troublesome. You could of course be naked with this, and it wouldn't mean we have "slot" armours. I think perhaps not much is lost in disabling this, but it ain't the worlds most important either. I do think it will save lots of typing, figuring out which layer everything is on, and the like!

(trolloc): you got to listen to JoTun, he has played in a mud with +100 players for some time until he found out that troll'bears are the minions of golem kings and came over to geas (foul rumours contend that he has been bribed by chocolate but it's just gossip) *:>

(KoRSaRio): Just an idea about the armour stuff, I think newbies, and also experienced players could see very useful something I had in another mud I played. There was a command showing you what were you wearing and what part it was protecting... like: ->( Just an suggestion of how it could be done, may be done of thousan ways... ) ->----- Example ----- ->Locations: Protected by: ->Head---------------- helmet ->----------------------- coronet ->Neck---------------- necklace ->Left arm ----------- left gauntlet ->---------------------- golden ring ->Right arm----------- right gauntlet ->----------------------- platinum ring ->. ->. ->. ->----- End Example -----

- DONE Removing all predefined "smile" -> "smile happily". Just make "nod" be "XXX nods." instead of "nods solemny" etc.
